Last game of the regular season. Seems like we just started the season a month and a half ago. Time flies....
Sandeep was no where to be found (he was actually down at The Stadium watching the Yankees take care of the D-Backs) and Adam was on a field trip.
We mixed it up pretty good llwith kids playing some positions they're never played before.
Josh Koppel and Fergy took the hill for each team and we honestly thought we might be outta there by 6:45. I mean it was a very pitcher dominated game.
JK threw a very effective 4 innings almost getting out of a 4th inning jam. Fergy and JK went toe to toe with the men in green barely holding on to the victory.
The Chadster came in for the 5th and 6th and pitched to hte minimum 6 batters.
Not much happening at the plate:
Derek - single
Ryan - single
A very well game played by both teams! Congrats to Coach Barnes, Coach Hall and team!

After playing the night before under the lights past most of the coaches (not the kids) curfew, Team Achievements had to be back at the ballpark for another game that was a make up from an earlier season rain out.
Not sure if the Team would respond in a positive way, the coaches promised spinach and asparagus to anyone not ready to play.
Team McSoldaniless needed to call upon their bullpen having used their starters the day before. The schedule makers were not kind.
The biggest issue of the day game before the first pitch when umpires were no where to be found. When Coach Egan suggested that he and I call balls and strikes, I hit the panic button and bribed an ump on another field. The bribe you ask? Well don't be surprised when you call Achievements and find that umpire Bill is the new owner!
Derek and T-Pot did a nice job on the hill. Teddy may need Tommy John surgery after his 5 pitch 5th inning.
There was leather everywhere! Outstanding defense by Joe Posada, The Chadster, Josh, Adam 'Cano' Rogers, & Nick 'Hoover' Shean.
Sticks:
Derek - 2 singles
Ryan - single
Chad - single
Josh - single, double
On a final note as we wind down our season, I'd like to officially vote to do away with interleague play. We are an American League Team and are 6-1 against fellow American League teams with our lone loss being a K.A.D. which is equivalent to the Hall of Fame game at the MLB level. But against the National League, we are a paltry 0-5. The lack of a DH and the pitchers batting just doesn't suit our style of play....
