Commonwealth Financial   Dan Decenzo gets the game ball as he pitched a brilliant game. Look out baseball world, Mr. Decenzo has a great hook!

Commonwealth Financial   Another great game played by both sides. Our game ball goes to both Don Henzel and Ryan Deitz for their extra efforts to help secure the game. Henzel made a fantastic throw from right field to the relay man (Harrison)who nailed the ruunner trying to score from third. What a play to save the game! Deitz should be commended for the way he battled at the plate. He fought the pitcher on every at bat. Way to Battle Deitz! It was also a team effort on the mound. McFerran started and pitched two scoreless innings. Tolmie came in at middle relief and gave the team a strong effort (only allowing two to score. And our ace reliever, Harrison, came in to snuff out any potential last minute rally. Defensive stars included Mr. Phillips who made a Willie Mays basket catch in center. Our team captain, McKenna, sweat behind the plate for the complete game. Not many catchers these days will sacrifice their bodies like our captain! Offensively Tolmie & McFerran had two hits apiece and Harrison and Decenzo added one each. Lastly and not leastly, Mr. Barth added an RBI with his walk in the first inning. We scored two quick runs in the first to come out of the gate strong. Great effort Team!

Commonwealth Financial   A determined opponent refused to give up and showed the league why we teach our players to never give up! We salute JJ Curran and sons and we warn any of their playoff opponents that they will face fierce players that will never give up. Coach Strohmaier should be commended for a team with great character and pride. Thank you coach as your determination is a beacon for the entire league!
