Ballston was defeated by a well rounded Amsterdam team. The team battled to the last out. Mike Visco lead the way at bat going 3-4 with 2 RBIs. Matt Koebbeman & Anthony Tyburski each going 2-4. Tristan Trust and Adam Guilder chipping with singles. Chris Stedry made a great catch on a frozen rope to right. Super effort guys and hats off to Amsterdam. |

Thanks to Spring for hosting a great game. Believe it or not we saw no rain! Both teams showed alot od heart in this back and forth battle. The game started strong with singles from Connor, Marshall and Devon brining in 2 runs. Marshall pitched the first 2 innings and settled down after giving up some runs to strike out 5 batters. Grey pitched an impressive middle two innings without giving up any runs. Dylan pitched a stron 1 2/3 inningswith 1 earned run. Devon Caples made a great catch in center to save a few runs late in the game. Connor Willmott took home the game ball for an all around excellent game. He closed out the bottom of the sixth, had a strong plate appearance going 2-3 and had great defensive plays at short and first. Great game guys! |
