Thanks to the host No. Colonie this game was as close as you can get. A pitching dual to the end.
Tommy Naples, Connor Reale and Brian Dailey held NC to 6 hits, which is not easy.
Ryan Cummings had an excellant game behind the plate throwing out 2 base stealers and making some key plays behind the plate.
Tommy Naples went 2-3 and Scott Hammond, Jacob Taylor, Taylor Mickle, and Jacob Barnes also contributed.
A great game all around by both teams. |

A very close game with the traveling team from Wilton. Wilton had the biggest inning of the day, scoring 3 in the top of the 4th.
NC has some timely hitting as they squeezed runs across against a good pitching and defensive effort by Wilton.
Alex Bazanos was the catalyst, with 2 hits and two runs scored from the lead off spot.
Brendan Montagne played well behind the plant, and was on base twice with a walk and a single.
Danny O'Connor (at first) and Seamus McGuirk (at second) made some excellent plays at unfamiliar positions.
Jack Mulcahy pitched for the firt time, and did an outstanding job.
Great team job! |

Ballston Spa |
|
Under gray skies Sunday night Ballston Spa scored an early run but were unable to keep the North Colonie bats at bay for long. Ballston Spa had bases loaded scoring opportunities in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th innings but were unable to bring the runners home. Ben Spoor, Chris Simmons, Ryan Thomas and Walker Tedford each had two hits a piece and Brady King, Alex Hartman, and Hunter Somogie also contributed with singles. |

With the weather in question, Ballston Spa visited NCYBA and played an outstanding game.
Kodi Ridell pitched two excellent innings, including pitching out of a bases loaded, 1 out jam. Kodi hit the ball hard all night at the plate, but Ballson Spa's defense played him perfectly. Great play by the Spa short stop in the 3rd inning.
Tyler R. sac bunt in the second inning helped to tie the score at 1-1. Big, big play in the game!!
Jack Mulcahy swung the bat very well on this night, he was 2 for 3, with a run scored.
Casey Hall went 3 for 3, a triple, and 3 runs scored.
