A back and forth contest ended with 4 big runs by Pioneer in the 6th. Mikey Griffin led the offense with 3 hits. Jack Montalto and Justin Smith added 2 each. Pioneer received strong pitching by Chris McGarvey & Evan Guzi, plus the season debut by Jack O'Connor.

A rematch from the season's second game went in favor of Pioneer thanks in part to outstanding pitching from Evan Guzi, Chris McGarvey, Mikey Griffin, Justin Smith, and Ray Vincelette. 2 hits apiece by Mikey Griffin and Justin Smith, plus a 2 RBI double by Evan Guzi paced the Pioneer offense.
