A playoff hungry Four Corners Pharmacy team came to play on rainy night at Magee. The game was tight after 3 innings with the Four Corners team leading 5-2. Jacob Kantrowitz pitched a solid 2 innings (3 Ks), and made a nifty double play to end the 2 inning. Relief pitcher Andrew (Franco) Ramsey came in and allowed 1 run over 2 innings (3 Ks). The offense got going in the 4th & 5th innings before the game was called due to the weather. Liam Gregory’s continues to swing a hot bat with 1 single and 1 double (2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored), Austin Wiedman had a single (1 RBI, and 2 runs scored), Brogan Bennett had 2 RBIs, Hunter Zeh 2 singles (2 RBIs), Ethan Fox had 2 RBIs, and Nate Hussar had 1 RBI and 1 run scored.

A solid win tonight for LaBarge Auto to go into the playoffs with! There were too many base runners to note but the offensive MVP of the game had to be Nick Albrecht, with not one but TWO Home Run blasts and 6 RBI!!! As the coaches told the players after the game, 10&4 sounds a heck of a lot better than 9&5! Way to finish the regular season strong guys. Let's have a great practice on Thursday and lay it all out on the field on Saturday! |

After a tough loss the previous game, the team bounced back nicely with a solid win Saturday. LaBarge's three pitchers, Mario Cubello, Daniel Gilligan, and Miles Kee, combined to allow only 3 hits in the game backed by solid defense. The offense was keyed by getting many runners on base combined with timely hits, most notably Danny Myers (3 BBs), Joey Mocerine (1B), Aidan Jones (2 1Bs), and Nick Albrecht (1B, HR) whose towering opposite field blast drove in three runs! |
