We started out loading the bases but Jack pitched his way out and then in the bottom half we put up a 4 spot. Our offense we only had 5 hits led by MO with 2 singles. Our pitching and defense held it together with an excellent catch by Jack in the 4th inning. Congrats to Flint and Granich on a well played game. |

Love Rec!! Beautiful night for baseball and had a great battle with Comtois Home. Early fireworks by Evan Austin & Sammy Case with triples in the first. More runs came in 4th with hard hit doubles by Scatts and Ryan Patrick. Also some great defense tonight as Matt & Evan making big catches deep in the outfield and Johnny robbing Hedderman with a diving stop at SS. Josh Renaldi led off the 6th trailing 6-5 and got on w/ a HBP. That was followed up by 3 consecutive doubles by Graney, Austin & Scatts. Sammy & Matt Calicchia followed with a singles and the damage was done. Scatt closed it out with the last two outs being recorded by 2nd baseman Josh Renaldi who after robbing Keenan with a nice catch to end the game was MOBBED by his teammates. That's why I LOVE REC.
Great season with a fun bunch of boys and great parents. Thanks for the memories and all the different heroes each game. |

The boys played a great game tonight - jumping out to an early start and then playing great defense. Offensively we had a great hitting day with just about everyone getting into the mix. Notable performances were registered by Alexi, Patrick, Ryan, Daniel, Collin, Justin, Jovani & Luca. All our pitchers did a good job throwing strikes and we played great defense behind them. Stellar plays were recorded by Colin (2 put outs at 2B), Patrick (RF), Justin (SS), Jovani (SS), Collin (3B & P), Ryan (1B) and Xander (2B). Great job boys! |
