Russell's Reds (Birr)   In a close game throughout, the Reds walked off with a win on a outfield blast by Dan McMullen who went 1-3 on the day. Mike Lemieux was the heart of the offense with three walks and a run, and led off the Reds rally in the 3rd inning. Ned Engelbride led off the 6th with a double and Ben Wander added a key 2 run RBI double. Tyler Hartman pitched a solid game, giving the Reds 4 innings and only allowing 3 hits to keep them in the game.

Advanced Therapy, PLLC (Deyoe)   A tough loss to Prellers Price Greenleaf greeted Deyoes Advanced Therapy today after a week off due to the weather. Congratulations to opposition hitters Matt Riker and Andrew Hicks for hitting homeruns, while the pitching duo of Riker and Brendan Roche kept our fine bats at bay. (Riker going 4 2/3 giving up only one run.) Even losses have positive elements for our team and this game was no different as the boys never quit and always seemed just a hit or two from coming back. Ryan Zigrosser, Eric Deyoe, Jonathan Scotto, and Christian Pappas all contributed big RBI’s. While the hit parade went on with contributions by Cooper Martell and Shane Brownell with two each, and David Kalmer, Shane Brownell, and Gavin Heffernan each contributing one. Solid defense was played by Greg Wilson at short, Heffernan at catcher, and Brenden Carroll in the outfield, while spectacular plays were made by Scotto in right field throwing home and alertly to first to get a clutch out, and by Zigrosser at third throwing a key runner out at home. The pitching trio of Martell, Wilson, and Kalmer threw solid strikes, striking out seven PG batters throughout while walking only four. Overall given the week off the team played very well and are looking forward to tomorrow’s game against Swifty’s!

Russell's Reds (Birr)   In a great game, Josh Bein led the offensive effort going 3-3 with his second home run of the season. He also added a walk and stolen base. Ned Engelbride had a key 3 run triple and a stolen base, while Ben Wander went 3-4 with a stolen base. Josh Bein, Jack Field and Ned Engelbride pitched well against an offensive minded Maquire/Cardona squad.

Crisafulli Brothers (Rosetti)   Great all aroudn team effort today. Justin Cohen had a nice sacrifice fly to venter to drive in a run. Jumpin Jack Empie had two singles. D-Rod hit da big one. We also had two double plays. The four pitchers did a great job shutting down the potent Belizzi team. Nice work guys. Keep it up.
