Home Run and a single by Nick Hutchins was not enough as the Wilton team turned two beautiful bases loaded double plays to get out of innings. Their clever pitcher Wells picked two successive boys off second in the final inning. I guess us coaches could have done a better job teaching the boys when a pitcher is committed to the plate. Good job Wilton. |

Facing a very good Clifton Park Team, and may I say a very fine coaching staff which always treats us as welcome guests at their beautiful facillity.
BULLDOGS had 2 goals, first try to win but second NOT TO GET MERCY RULED. And I couldn't be any prouder of their effort along those lines. Down 10-1 after 2 innings Dogs would not let the mercy rule occur. Great plays by Ryan Bradley and Louie DeRidder helped and a tremendous 4-3 double play by Adam Powers made the game go to completion. DANNY CARPENTER WAS ABSOLUTLEY MASTERFUL IN RELIEF.
BEST OUTING OF THE YEAR FOR CARPY.
HITS: ANDY GATES (LONE HIT OFF THE cp LEFTY WHO PITCHED VERY WELL)
