Wilton   Well played game all around very few errors by both teams. Jake Hart and George Kirshe again had their hot bats going hammering out two hits apiece. Max Jackson from the 10 spot in the order had a double and a single. 10 different players for Wilton had hits. Best of luck to Amsterdam in the tournament.

Saratoga   7/20 - Saratoga at Clifton Park (make-up game) The Saratoga 8U All-Stars were defeated by Clifton Park (Green) at Clifton Park on Monday July 20 by a score of 12-5. Saratoga Pitchers Brad Hipsley and Peter O'Toole had strong outings, each with 2 strikeouts and 1 hit allowed. Saratoga's offnse combined for 10 Hits, led by Hipsley who was 2 For 3 with an RBI, and Christian Kondo who went 1 For 2 with a double and 2 RBI. Aidan Homlmes had 1 Hit and Scored a run, and Lewi Clark Added a sharply hit double in the left center gap. Will Bonacio, Gordon Hogben, and Corey Wurl each had a hit and an RBI in the game.

Clifton Park Green   Good Defense today by the Green Machine. Offense was lead by Spulnick with some clutch hitting. Great team effort and concentration. Lemon and Maxon closed the game out in the 6th with good pitching.

Saratoga   Saratoga did this behind solid pitching and defense. Brad Hipsley, Gordon Hogben, Corey Wurl, and Christian Kondo conbined for 9 Strike-outs while only giving up 5 Hits. Solid defensive plays were turned in by Chris James and Christian Kondo. Offensively, Saratoga turned 9 Hits into 9 Runs Scored with heads up and aggressive base running. Some of the highlights were; Kondo - Triple, 3 Runs Scored; Hipsley - 3 For 3, 2 RBI; Hogben - 2 For 2, 2 RBI; Will Bonacio - 2 For 2, 2 RBI; Nate Chudy - 1 Hit, 2 Stolen Bases; and Jonathan Preddice - 1 Hit, 2 RBI.

Wilton   A well pitched game by the Wilton Warriors. They limited a very good hitting Clifton Park white team to 6 hits. Only walking 2 batters and K'ing 6. Jake Hart led the team w/ 3 hits. Tillman and Myers came through w/ 2 apiece. Wilton now stands with a 5-2 record tied with CP white.

Clifton Park White   In a rain shortened game, CP White fell to Wilton 6-2. Defense played well. Hits by Lynch, Wesfall, VamBeusekom, Blinstrub and Boodram.

Clifton Park White   Strong pitching and defense led the way for CP White. Boodram with a nice tag play in 6th inning, Popp with a nice throw to second base to prevent a steal. Two hits each for Normandin, Boodram, Blinstrub, Miranda. Other hits from Westfall, Paquin and Vanderveer.

Saratoga   The Saratoga 8U All-Stars were defeated by a strong pitching Clifton Park (White) team on Tuesday 7/14 by a score of 12-2. Clifton Park pitching limited Saratoga to 5 hits. Corey Wurl scored both of Saratoga's runs, and Brad Hipsley went 3 for 3 with a double and an rbi. Will Bonacio also contributed with an rbi double. Hipsly also started an inning ending double play in the sixth with a great catch and a heads up throw to first and held CP scoreless while pitching the first two innings.
