Great job pitching by all three Ballston Spa pitchers. Ballston Spa played nothing but quality baseball. Offensively, Ballston Spahad some contact hitting singles by Tristan Trust, Robby Schmitz, Zach Scala, Josiah Dillon, Chris Vesic, Casey Scofield, Bailey Motala and Ben Ellsworth with an outstanding bunt advancing runners to score. Ben Ellsworth also catching a pop-up foul fly while catching. Defensively, Ballston Spa did an excellent job of holding down Saratoga. Ben Ellsworth gunning a runner out trying to steal 2nd. |

Good throws from the mound from Ballston Spa pitching crew. Some excellent defensive plays starting with Garrett Mallison making a diving catch in CF in the 2nd inning. 3rd inning on a steal attempt Garrett Mallison and Josiah Dillon with an out at home. Chris Vesic on the run in LF with a great shoestring catch. Conor Schmitz with a diving catch in LF. Ballston Spa came on strong in the 6th inning bringing in 4 runs. A great bunt from Robby Schmitz brought in 2 RBI's. Nice singles from Zach Scala, Jake Ellsworth, Robby Schmitz, Brody O'Connor, Casey Scofield and Chris Vesic. |
