I would like to say thank you to awesome group of boys and coaches from the Niskayuna Warriors for having us on this great last day of fall ball. The coaches put in extra efforts this morning to get there fields playable from the rain. They also had an awesome chocolate chip cookie pizza size desert for our boys for an end of the season game decorated with SGF on it and all. The SGF Bulldogs didn't hit the greatest today but managed to pull off a final win. The Niskayuna Warriors had some awesome pitchers as they presented an new boy on the mound each inning. Thank you again and we hope we will meet again in the spring. |

Another cool fall day but much warmer than last weekend :-). I would like to thank the SNS for another great game of ball. Casey pitched 6 innings with back to back strike outs in the 3rd and 4th inning but due to his count getting high Harrington had to finish out the final inning. Harrington had a solo HR in the top of the 3rd along with a hot hit through the infield in the final inning trying to get the team into a 2 out bases loaded rally but the SNS center field made a great play throwing Perrotte out at 2nd for the 3rd out. We pray for no rain tomorrow so we all can finish playing ball and not being a rain out. We wish the SNS the best of luck again tomorrow. |
