North Colonie Shakers   Fine pitching by Scott and James who faced 3 batters each. 3 K's by James. Great catches by Cam(2 fly balls) and James(2 pop ups)led a strong defense. Andrew had a great assist as he threw out a runner trying for a double. Strong hits by Dom(2 inning), Jeremy(double in the third), Andrew (triple in the fourth) and Cam (double in the fifth) led a strong hitting day.

North Colonie Padres   Another good solid game on the road. Our pitchers really performed well today. Everyone did a great job fielding and getting the bat on the ball. Two more games in the tournament so keep playing hard and having fun!

North Colonie Padres   So this one wound up being our last game of the regional tournament and it was close all the way to the bottom of the 6th. Both teams went 3 innings without a score. To say it was a pitcher’s duel however does not tell the story. Griffin, Jake and Danny pitched to only 13 batters in 4 innings with 3 strike outs by Griffin in the 1st, 6 strike outs in 7 batters by Jake and 3 strike outs in 3 batters in the 4th. Danny had 2 outs in the 5th and then his arm started to get tired after three straight days of pitching. We gave up enough runs to have a tie score at the end of 5 but came back and scored 4 in the top of the 6th. We brought Griffin back in as the closer and with bases loaded watched Griffin get his third strike for the win! We had some nice fielding plays. A 2-4 Ethan Duda and Brandon Hunt stolen base combination in the 2nd inning and a pitcher, 1st base Danny Egan and Amos Grimm combination in the 5th. Our first run in the game came on an RBI single by Amos Grimm to score Zach Snyder in the 4th. Danny had a clean double and 3 base hits in 4 at bats, David had a nice bunt and a single, Jake had a HBP and a single, Zach Snyder 1 single, Justin 1 single, 2 base on balls, Amos 2 singles, Brandon 1 single (and 2 runs today!) Ethan a nice double in the 5th and a single and Gerard 1 single. Great Regional Tournament Boys!
