Glenmont Beverage (Rooney) |

The GB boys played another great game against a well coached Subway team. Both teams played really well. Collin Fink was in a groove on the hill and pitched 5 complete innings with 12 K's. Brendan Mortensen came in to preserve the win.
The hitting was led by Jack Rooney and Collin Fink with 2 singles each. Kyle Fox and Justin Santaski both had doubles (Kyle's shot would have been out at Magee) Brendan Mortensen and Dan Connolly also had a single each.
The defense was led by Shane Ferris who made a great play at second. Alex Sunderhaft chased down a long hit in the outfield and threw to the cutoff, Mortensen, who relayed to home, Rooney, to nail a Subway runner at the plate. |
