Saratoga   Will Messier and Alex Skaine scored twice each for Saratoga, who got good pitching from first time starter Colin Bradley, but it wasn't enough in their final prep game before the States.

Wilton   A nice win for the boys from Wilton to end the 1st round of allstar play. The offense was led by Brendon Frank's 2 doubles and Nick Lushkevich's 2 singles. Matt Prock also delivered a clutch double in the 4th inning. Keegan Leffler threw 5 solid innings for Wilton, allowing only 3 runs and not walking a batter. Brendon Frank worked the final frame in relief.

So. Glens Falls   After a shaky start, great pitching and great defense by both teams made for a good game. Several nice defensive plays by the Bulldogs, highlighted by Logan Scarlotta's snag of a foul ball and Drew Fifield's over-the-shoulder, on-the-run grab of a deep fly ball in center were ESPN highlight reel material. Unfortunately, the SGF bats were silent again, and just couldn't mount a challange on the scoreboard.

Clifton Park 2   Clifton Park got on the board early and once again relied a pitching and solid defense to lead the way. So. Glens Falls made some great defensive plays to keep things close as they have all season.

Ballston Spa   Great game played by Queensbury and Ballston Spa. Ballston Spa jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but Queensbury battled back and got 5 runs in the 6th to take a 2 run lead. In the bottom of the 6th, Ballston Spa rallied for 3 runs to take the win. Joe Monaco paced Ballston Spa with 3 hits including a 2-run HR, and 3 RBI. Josh Hipwell got the winning single in th bottom of the 6th for the victory. Good Luck to the kids from Queensbury. Great way to end the year for the Ballston Spa boys!

Wilton   A solid win for the boys from Wilton against a very sound SGF squad. The offense was lead by Keegan Leffler's double and single. Ryan Sesselman and Nick Lushkevich chipped in with 2 singles each. Chris Lee and Matt Prock combined for the win behind some solid defense.

So. Glens Falls   Wilton played a great game all around with several nice plays in the field and solid hitting. Also, the Wilton pitchers did a great job, not allowing a single walk, which made it hard for the Bulldogs to stage any kind of a rally. Evan Benosky and Ryan Buser had good days at the plate for the Bulldogs, collecting 2 hits a piece.
