The Wilton bats stayed hot with a 23-hit effort against the Queensbury hurlers. The hitting attack was led by Nick McDonough and Jack Herman with three hits apiece. Six other hitters had two hits each - Marshall Kiesow, Reese Johnson, Danny Hobbs, Gehrig Laniewski, Jake Moline and Josh Dagle. One of Johnson's hits was an inside-the-park homerun in the third. Speed kills. The Wilton arms settled down to blank the Queensbury bats from the third inning on using five pitchers on the day. |
