NEXT MILLENIUM, BRONX NY won the 2005 Middle Atlantic 11 Year old championship at Clifton Park, NY with a 7-4 victory over Central Perkiomen of Pennsylvania. Winning pitcher John Pena scattered nine hits and struck out 8 enroute to the win. A 4-run third inning featuring doubles by Miguel Olveras, Desmond Foster and Edward Corneil proved decisive. Thomas Grablewski's tripe and two singles each by Ryan Conway, Cody Clarke and Dan Thompson led the runnerup squad.
In the third place game, a pair of mammoth home runs by Evan Miller were not enough as Hazlet topped Hopewell Valley 5-3. Miller hit five home runs during the tourney!
