BULLDOG BATS NEVER STOPPED AGAINST A WILTON TEAM THAT NEVER QUIT.
Jake Dubay's game saving catch of a smash in the gap sealed a hard fought victory.
An incredible 11 hit attack led by
Adam Powers three hits, two by Tyler Cogovan and Andy "Big Game" Gates and one hit apiece from Kevin Herren, Barry Moorer, Ryan Bradley and Garrett Hayes fueled the win. Great baserunning by Brandon Baker, and a fine defensive job both on the mound and behind the plate by Travis Brown aided in the Dog Championship Victory. ALL OF US COACHES ARE EXTREMELY PROUD OF THE BULLDOG EFFORTS IN ALL THE PLAYOFF GAMES. WINNING THEM ALL BY TWO RUNS OR LESS. SEE YOU IN THE SPRING. |

Great dog pitching. Great dog hustle and Great hitting in the clutch as Dogs reach finals. Huge 2 out rally with doubles by Kevin "CLUTCH" Herren and "Gatsey" ignighted a three run sixth off a very good Saratoga pitcher. Garrett Hayes played first like a gold glover. Garrett's hard work is definately paying off. Barry Moorer had a nice smash in the fifth. All the work DOGS have been doing is paying off as well. Best effort of the year this weekend boys, you make us coaches proud. |

We came out swinging the bats today but we left our gloves on the bus. We made too many errors that cost us at least 6 unearned runs. That's why you play the game.... Wilton had a very fine hitting team, putting the ball in play almost every batter, great job. Matt , Joey and Taylor pitched another fine game but the 'D' didn't help. Once again all the kids hit the ball well, Joey Kirker, Tyler Roach, Matt Morano, Taylor Daniels, Dan McNiell, Sal Del'Angello, Nick Fruscio, Max Perrotta, Nolan Duda, Josh Lewis, and Kyle Hartshorn all had great at bats and hlped the team all the way. One more game next week. I know I don't want the year to end and I am sure the kids don't!!!!! Good luck to Wilton next week in the Championship game. |

Very well pjayed game by both teams. Pitching, some great defensive plays, and timely hits helped NC2 to the first round win. Sal Del'Angello had the play of the game, throwing out a potential scoring run at the plate. GREAT play!!!!!Nick Fruscio, Noland Duda, Max Perrotta,, Joey Kirker, Dan McNiell, Kyle Hartshorn, Matt Morano, and Josh Lewis all chipped in with fine defensive plays and great at bats for a total team win.Taylor Daniels hit an In-The Park homer for her first homer of the year. Once again, AWESOME piching display by 'BIG" Nate Popeil, shutting us down for 3 innings, great job!!!! Great year Coach Popeil and NC1, you guys played hard and never gave up!!!! Matt, Taylor, and Joey did a tremendous job pitching today, way to go!!! |
