COACHES ZEISER, LANDRY AND LACLAIR SENDS MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NISKAYUNA WARRIORS FOR WINNING THE CONSOLATION CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! After finishing in 2nd place during the Fall regular season, this fine group of kids pulled out a great win on Saturday to finish the job. Great job by Mike Landry-2 hits and a run scored, Ryan Feeney-doubled,scored twice, and pitched 3 great innings, Mike Squadare, singled, Lou Bianchi-Breakell doubled, scored, and pitched 2 gems. Jordy Rutherford singled, doubled and scored. Ian Timm singled, Bobby Jegabbi singled, Garrett Whitley singled, Kevin McLaughlin singled, scored and finished a 6-5 DP. Ryan Zeiser walked twice, scored and closed the game on the mound. Connor Weingarten dropped down a perfect sac bunt, and made an amazing catch at SS then fired to third for the 6-5 DP! GREAT JOB BY A FINE GROUP OF BOYS. YOU HAVE MUCH TO BE PROUD OF! Thanks to the great gang over at Spring as well. |

Congratulations to Niskayuna on a well played game. Great pitching and fielding and timely hitting in the fifth inning proved to be the difference.
Congratulations to Spring on a successful fall season. We made great improvements throughout the season and we look forward to next season already.

A great game all around by the world famous Nisky Warriors. With all our injuries, a lesser team may have given up, but not this team. Mike Landry was stellar as usual in the field. The kid is a freak out there! He also got on base all 3 times and scored a run. Ryan Feeney Pitched a solid 5th to close it out and hit a single and a double. Mike Squadere was on base all 3 times and scored twice. Louie Bianchi-Breakell hit a single and jacked a 3 run homer to deep left! He also started 4-6-3 double play in the final inning. Jordy Rutherford reached base in the 3rd and played his usual perfect 1st base. Bobby Jegabbi was a monster behind the dish and walked and scored in the 5th. All this with a broken foot!!! Kevin McLaughlin ripped 2 singles and scored a run. He also pitched 2 scoreless innnings and struck out 4 ,and helped turn the 4-6-3. Ian Timm reached base all 3 times and scored after crushing a double in the 4th. He also made some sweet plays at 3rd. Connor Weingarten was a stud at short and dropped down the most perfect sac bunt in the 2nd. Ryan Zeiser, broken hand and all, reached twice, scored once and helped turn a rally killing 4-6-3 in the 5th. He also pitched a perfect 1st inning. Mike Sise reached base in the 5th and pitched a great inning in the 2nd, giving up zero runs. Great job boys, and great job to the entire NC team. What a super group of kids with a lot of heart.
