Great job by the Dukes, coming from behind to almost catch a very tough Dom's Pizza team. I'm very proud of these boys, who never gave up despite facing pitchers from the Shaker varsity and JV squad, and almost winning it! After the two errors in the first inning, the boys played a very clean game. We're getting there! Game Highlights: Herbie Knight: two strong innings, with only 1 earned run (and 2 unearned) plus a hit and a run scored; Ryan Marsh: three strong innings, with 2 earned runs (and 1 unearned), and a base hit. Will Zajesky was 3 for 3 with an RBI! Jeff Rappold scored two runs, including one stealing home!
