An excellent start to the season against a talented Andriano's Pizza. Manley and Garcia were strong on the mound for Andriano's Pizza. Jeffrey Hammond proved himself to be a force on the Major mound pitching five innings and keeping Price Greenleaf in the game all night long. Hammond also got things started offensively in the first inning with a bomb to the centerfield fence for a double and had three hits and 2 RBI's for the night. The Harveys lived-up to expectations and then some. Dave Harvey was materful behind the dish and contributed a walk, single and RBI. Chris Harvey contributed a double, Jeremy Fournier a walk, Will Vagianelis a walk, Zayne Kakra a single, Merrick Hodford a walk, Tom Harvey hit-by-pitch and Cameron Schultz a clutch single and RBI. Notable defensive plays came from Will Vagianelis at first base catching a low hard hit missile robing David Garcia of what would have been an extra base hit and Tom Harvey catching a major league mile-high pop-up along the first base line. Price Greenleaf never gave up and battled back to a tie in the top of the sixth, but Andriano's Pizza refused to make a home plate delivery of the pizza pie to Colby Nash in the top of the sixth by intentionally walking him with runners on base. A total team effort and harbinger of good things to come this season for Price Greenleaf.
