It was a competitive and fun evening of baseball with a couple plays and hits making the difference. Hats off to Bryant Asset and their fine pitching performances from starting ace Jack Anguish, Matt Marshall and Andrew Voelker. SGMS managed to snap a three game losing streak with an impressive come from behind win with contributions from many on our Team, including excellent pitching from Dermot McDonough, Kyle Lewis, Colin Roche and Matt Tiberia. Will Gross made an impressive unassisted double play at third base in the bottom of the fifth which was the game's turning point. McDonough and Roche also displayed impressive fielding skills on the mound robbing Bryant Asset of at least three strong hits up the middle. Will Vagianelis was very good behind the dish and made a nice force-out play at home. The SGMS bats came to life with Lewis contributing two singles and a walk, Luke Andres two clutch singles at important points of the game, Vagianelis with a walk and clutch single, Matt Tiberia with a clutch single and double, Nick Marshall with a single and big double ripped down the third base line, Colin Roche with a clutch single and walk, Will Gross with a big single and Ian Marsh with a walk.
