On Friday night, Glenmont Family Tire defeated Backyard Sheds 3 to 2 in game that featured excellent pitching and solid defense. Backyard's Will Partridge and Ryan Lynch pitched superbly throughout while Joe Eberle-Brazis pitched a gem for Family Tire. Derek Martelle led the way defensively for Backyard throwing out a potential base stealer at second. Jason Piccolino had three hits and two runs scored and Jimmy Gallagher blasted a double into left center to drive in a run. Lleyton Emery continued his excellent hitting with another multiple hit game. Congratulations to Family Tire and good luck the rest of the way.		Excellent game against a strong opponent. We were able to prevail behind tough pitching by Joe Brazis-Eberle, and strong hitting by Sean and Riley Turner and Matt Wise. Both teams were evenly matched and we felt fortunate to get the win.
