It was a cold, dark and partially wet night of baseball, but SGMS scored 9 runs and secured its first win of the season against a talented and well coached LaBarge's Team. Dermot McDonough had four stellar shut-out innings on the mound for SGMS and also contributed a stinging line drive single and two walks for the night. Other game highlights include: a brief but strong relief pitching performance by Matt Tiberia along with a walk and hard hit line drive single, Luke Andres contributed two nice hits, Nick Marshall a walk and clutch hit to extend a rally, Ian Marsh two walks and Kyle Lewis two walks and one hit.
