ABW just could't to get it going in time thanks to the shut down pitching from the NWM staff. A well played game by both teams. Appreciate the help from Matt Barnes today. Brian Kwon was on base a couple of times (including toughing out a pitch to the helmet), and Alex Koppel has a nice game at the plate. Looking to get it going Monday.		The Northwestern Mutual boys withstood a furious comeback by the Awards by Walsh team to earn a hard fought 8-6 win. The Zack Attack continues to display his defensive skills by catching a blast by Brent Durante in the 7th which likely would have scored the go ahead run. Great job by the Awards by Walsh team. Good luck to Manager MacArevy, Coaches, & players on the rest of the season. Our boys seemed hungry today, & were fueled by the sunshine, & the dugout humor. Highlights: Harrison: on base 3 for 3, double Nate: on base 1 for 3 with a BB Nick: single, double, & while on the mound, took a hopper to the neck & still produced the putout. Noah: single, run scored, & was our closer on the mound today. Ryan L: on base 2 for 3 with a BB & single. Can't keep track of his stolen bases. Pitched 2 shutout innings. Louis: on base 2 for 3 with a single. Pitched 2 shut out innings. Justin: On base 2 for 3, with a double & BB. Brian: On base 1 for 3 with a BB. Lunging catch in the outfield, & two great plays at 2B. Sam: On base 2 for 3 with 2 BB. Zack: On base 3 for 3 with blast to deep outfield for a double, & he had a single & BB. Ryan A.: A threat at the plate. Just missed today. Great team spirit. Bobby: 1 for 1 with a single. Great job team. It's been a busy week. One more game tomorrow, & then we have a little break. Today was a fun game, & very competitive to the end by both teams. It had to be worth the money for the fans.
