It was up in the air the whole game. Great game by both teams tonight we both played really hard. Derek Becker led the offense going 4-4 2 triples of the left field fence double, single. Eazy E Edwin Shields had 2 bullet singles,and Big Buck Nick Buckley continues to swing a hot bat with 2b,1b, Great job boys. Defense was great early with a few errors late. Adam Shanno nice play at second and a great relay from Adam Shanno to Naz Raja, Great game boys and good luck to a a classy Capital Region Team and to Coach Durante, Coach Beck		After nearly drowning earlier in the week, the NC fields were ready to see a good game of baseball. And they did with the CROs facing the potent Naps. Our offense rang-up nine hits including seven singles (Pardo, Methe', Durante, Barnes, Oberting, Ferris, Ricci), a double (Durante), and a triple (Oberting -- nice poke!!) that resulted in 9 runs. The defense was busy with several infield put-outs involving a number of CROs (Barnes, Methe', Durante, Ferris, Dunbar) a long fly to center (Pardo), and a pop-out to third (nice catch Tyler). Pitching delivered 9 Ks, but also issued 8 walks. Combined with several errors and timely hits by the Naps put us in the hole 13 to 9. Best of luck to the Naps as you work your way through the playoffs. Thank you Coach Becker for a well played, competitive game.
