Coach Kevin's orthopods were smacking the ball all over the yard tonight. The Engineers did not have the offensive game that we had on Monday. Such is baseball boys! Back to practice. Nice 2B by Conor, clean single by Henry! Brandon scalded a ball down the 3rd base line that was snared for an out. Matt P hit the ball well for two singles. Good luck Coach Kev for the remainder of this blessed season. Nice bunt Brent!		The weather was good and so was the baseball. The 'Pods' pitched another six strong innings (Aquario, Oberting, Pardo, Methe') recording 9K's (strikeouts). The pitchers helped their cause with several defensive plays as well. Play behind the dish was tight (Ferris, Barnes, Durante). The MIFs made their contribution with several plays recording put-outs: 6-3 (SS to 1B, Methe'-Barnes), 6-4 (SS to 2B, Oberting-McLoughlin), and a long trot to a P6 (Methe'). The defensive highlight of our night, however, was the two consecutive outs recorded by Ed 'Brooks Robinson' Dunbar at third, both going 5U (third baseman, unassisted). The offense returned tonight with 10 singles (Pardo-2, McLoughlin-2, Methe', Ferris, Ricci, Oberting-3, Durante) and 3 doubles (McLoughlin, Methe'-2). Combined with run producing outs (Rhoden, Aquario) lead the CROs to the win. Thank you Coach Murray for a sporting match and best of luck to the 'Engineers' as they play through the remainder of their season.
