Excellent job by the Freihofer's team today. Hats off to our pitching staff, JT Lopez, Ryan Mattison and Jacob Lachapelle, for a shut out game against a very tough CRO team. Our bats finally came alive and our feet were quick. Smart plays defensively and aggressive batting and base running brought it together. Let's keep this momentum going for our next game. Good luck to Coach Durante and the Capital Region Ortho team!		Finally, a game without a parka or a raincoat. Pitching was solid once again (Oberting, Pardo, Methe') with six innings tossed and 8K's (strikeouts) recorded. The defense flashed some leather with two put-outs from behind the dish to first (CS 2-3, Ferris-Pardo) and to second (CS 2-6, Ferris-Methe'); two put-outs by our middle infielders (McLoughlin-Ferris, Rhoden-Ferris); and a rare put-out from center to second (8-6, Griffin K, Mcloughlin). Unfortunately, the warm weather did nothing for our bats as the CROs recorded only three hits (Methe'-2, Durante). Thank you Coach Zajesky for a well played game and good luck to the 'Bakers' during the remainder of the season.
