		A well-played, efficient baseball game featuring a classic pitching duel between Justin Barach and Brendan Roche. Both boys were absolutely terrific. With two outs in the top of the 6th, Trevor Kniffin stroked a high fly over the CF wall to break up the scoreless tie. Just a great, clutch bomb by a terrific hitter. In the bottom of the 6th, Kevin Hanson led off with a hard single to LF. With two outs and Hanson on 3rd, Barach ran out of pitches and left the game. In came Carter Morelli, throwing strikes. Mendleson grounded sharply to LF to tie the game. Bottom of the 7th, pitcher Brendan Roche came to bat with one out and Andrew Hicks on 3rd, Michael Cubello on 2nd. Roche grounded firmly to 3rd, a bobble, a hurried throw, Hicks slid hard into home, and "Safe!" signaled the umpire. Game over. Roche K'd only 5 batters on the night, but was supported by errorless defense, including four flies to CF caught by Trey Sgroi and a nifty grab on a pop by Big John Turoski. Everyone on Bill Flynn's team played extremely well, and hard, and with class. Barach & Kniffin, especially, deserve credit for their efforts, as does Ben Halpert for several nice catches in RF.
