		On a cool, sunny Saturday morning, a battle of the unbeatens was forged at Magee when DeYoe’s Advanced Therapy faced the tenacious and talented Flynn’s LaBarge’s Glenmont Family Tire squad. In an improbable turn of events, Advanced Therapy was able to come away with a win after grinding out a couple of tough earned runs in walk-off fashion. Offensively, DeYoe’s squad was led by Jonathan Scotto, who hit a triple and a single, scoring two runs. Eric DeYoe, who had a double and a single stole home for a key run. DeYoe also made a nice running catch in deep center preventing further damage from Flynn’s team. David Kalmer had a single and an RBI. Ryan Zigrosser and Cooper Martell had nice singles and Brenden Carroll hit a sacrifice fly, deep to right to score a run. On defense, Shane Brownell started the game off right, making the first out of the game, going to his left at 2nd and gunning a speedy leadoff hitter, hustling down the line. Gavin Heffernan made a sharp and accurate throw to 1st on a dribbler in front of the plate, preventing more damage from a great Flynn team. Martell pitched a fine game, chalking up 9 K’s and getting terrific defensive support from Alex MacDonald, who fielded some nice plays and held Flynn’s runners to the minimum. Down 5-4 with two outs in the bottom of the 6th, Heffernan scored the tying run and Scotto the walk off in a hard fought and enjoyable game. Great competition and sportsmanship on both sides. Next Game: Rinaldi on Sunday the 8th, 6pm at Magee.
