The Backyards bats came alive in the third inning to break open a close game on the way to a win over a tough Kinderhook Bank team. Saiyvin Wesley led the way with 7 rbis, including a grand slam over the centerfield fence. Wesley also pitched three strong innings. Mike Turoski pitched the final two innings and chipped in with two singles at the plate. Tom Curiale was on base three times, and made a nice fielding play. Tommy Raleigh had a hard hit single, and Joe Fierro and Eddie Stevens had stolen bases. Nice win!
