A back in forth battle ended up a little short for us today. Backyard sheds team played a great game. Will Austin had a couple nice hits which turned in for runs. Kai also had good day at the plate with a base hit. A fun and exciting game today leaves us wanting a rematch with the Mullen coached team.		In their third game in as many days, the Backyard Boys dug deep to outlast a tough Masterseal team. This was an exciting back and forth contest, where either team could have won. Saiyvin Wesley and Mike Turoski each pitched two innings in support of the winning effort, and Tommy Raleigh played a key role by pitching the 5th. Luke Roe had two stolen bases and a run scored. Zach O'Brien had a big hit to start a rally. Turoski continued his solid hitting and alert base running. Wesley had three hits, including a bases clearing triple in the bottom of the 5th. Dermot McDonough was rock solid behind the plate and scored the go ahead run with a nifty hook slide to avoid the tag. Michael Mullen flashed some leather with a nice scoop at short, leading to a forceout at home.
