Great defense and solid pitching was the highlight of the Nisky Team tonight.		Shakers I think you learned from Nisky what good pitching and smart defense can do for you. The Nisky hitters were on which means our pitchers (Stephen, Keenan, Beau, Nicholas) were throwing strikes, which is great. In the first half of the game our defense didn’t play smart but improved as we went on and started controlling the ball better in the second half. Some smart plays by Nick G in right field for a key out at first. Good tag on the helmet by Nicholas on a close play at first. Good play by Connor and Ryan to throw out a runner going to second on an overthrow. Our bats started coming alive after a slow first half and we had two good rally’s to get our 5 runs. I’m extremely proud that as a team you guys didn’t stop battling until the last out. Game ball went to the whole team. Great job and good luck going forward to a very good Nisky Team!
