California Closets (Sgroi)		Advanced Therapy (DeYoe)
California Closets won 9-3 Thursday night against a very good Advanced Therapy team. Cal Closets had a big 1st inning, scoring 5 runs on a double by Colby Nash and singles by Carter Morelli and John Turoski. Christian Pappas supplied the biggest hit of the inning, blasting his 1st HR of the year to left center. Steven Mendleson also helped the offensive effort going 2 for 3, and scoring 3 runs. Ryan Davis and Trey Sgroi also added base hits. Steven Mendleson and Ryan Davis were outstanding on the hill. Mendleson worked 4 2/3, allowing 3 runs on 2 hits while striking out 10. Davis finished up, allowing no runs on 2 hits while striking out 5.		The Advanced Therapy boys ran up against some good pithing by California Closets Steven Mendelson. We had some good pitching of our own with Eric DeYoe pitching 4 innings with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks and solid pitching by Ben Halpert in relief. Solid catching with Greg lenegar and Jonathon Scotto behind the plate. Ryan Sontz hit a big home run and Eric DeYoe had 2 doubles. Our solid defense kept the game close till the end.
