An extra inning thriller!!! Wow, what a ballgame. Congrats to Coach Miller, staff, & players on an incredible game. We wish you luck the rest of the way. Coach Lue told the boys before the game that it was going to be close, & he was right on target. There was not a lot of hits this game by either side, as we had 5 hits, & allowed 7. Our pitchers did a great job, having 11 K's between them. They were Ben Pesnel, Nick Buff, & Erik "Mo" Nelson. They were backed up by Michael Broughton, Mark Egan, Ben Pesnel, & James Lue behind the plate. Ben Pesnel was a single short of a cycle. To their credit, C & C had an awesome play at the plate to get Michael B. It was a play you'd see in a highlight clip. Great hussle Michael!!!
