Tough loss! DC Pizza went with a depleted rotation and stepped up to the challenge by shutting down the big bats from Davey Jones Locker. We had our own issues with pitching but Joe Bonarrigo met the challenge and pitched a strong 6 innings before Jonathon Rivera made his piching debut in the 7th to keep us in the game and pitched very well! Our offense just had a difficult time putting together a few hits and the defense had one inning where a few mistakes was the difference in the game. Alec Carman went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Bonarrigo and Ward went 1 for 3 with a run scored. Tristan Hyde went 1 for 2 with a walk and James Brown got his first hit of the season going 1 for 3. The boys were tired after a big double header on Saturday. Hopefully with rest before Tuesday's game, we will recharge and get back into the swing of things. This team is too talented to have just 1 win on the year!
