Westland Hills		Pine Bush 1
Liam Owens -pitched well, 2 singles, John White - single, Mitchell Spencer - single		Pine Bush 1 had a solid game on both sides of the ball this week against Westland Hills. WH started out strong loading the bases in the first but heads up defense by Horan throwing one guy out at home from short to Rhoades at catcher and Patterson going back on a hard hit ball to left and making the catch to end the threat. Solid D and good pitching by both clubs kept it scoreless through 2 innings. Patterson got PB going in the bottom of the third with one of his 2 singles on the day. Hennessy also went 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's. Crisafulli, Rathwell, Witkop, Hilt and Guerette also had a great day at the plate hitting the ball hard and knocking in the runs, but Phelps was the man with the hot hand going 3 for 3 with a single, double and triple with 5 RBI's leading PB to a 12-1 win over a well coached and talented WH team. Witkop started first 2 innings on the mound recording 3 K's. Cardona pitched innings 3 and 4 recording a strikeout but also started a nice 1-6-3 double play with Horan and Guerette. Crisafulli pitched well in closing the game out in 5 and 6. Notable mention: On a well hit ball to right center Hennessy gunned the batter out on a perfect throw to 2nd.
