This was a slugfest by both teams. Congratulations to the Red Sox & Manager Petrone on a very good season. The Cardinals now advance. The dugout was alive & team spirit was evident with this rare game at Shaker High School. Our pitchers: Derek, Tyler, Casey, & Kodi all did well in this victory. Behind the plate for 4 innings was Alex Koshgarian who was a human backstop. Dean Maloney caught the 5th & final inning before darkness set in. The second inning was probably a new North Colonie record for runs & time, as both teams combined for 20 runs, & at the bottom of the second, we were already 90 minutes into the game.
