Slingerlands rallyed late, but stranded the tying run at third base in the 6th inning, in an 11-10 loss to Mazzone. Stars of the game were Nico Gargano-Kozlowski who pitched great in his 1st appearance of the year recording 4 strikouts in 3 innings of work, allowing only 1 run. Josh Irving also pitched well in an 1 1/3 innings work, striking out 2. The bats stayed hot with both Dan Robeson and Austin Bielawa going 3-4, Kyle Morelli going 2-2, including his 1st HR of the year, a long drive to straight center. Matt Weinberg tripled, Nick Sgroi doubled and Josh Irving, Nico Gargano-Kozlowski and Brian Greenberg each had singles.
