Chris Caswell pitched another gem as the Russell Red’s bats came alive last night at magee park. The offense was led by Alec Furier with 4 RBI hits and the big lefty Mike Bohl with 2 RBI hits. Key singles by Connor Kimmey, Josh Rosenblatt, Mike “Mouse” Hunter, Jon Kerins, and Mitch Calebrese. The Red’s played error free defense and Mouse had the play of the game with his unassisted double play. Mike Bohl contributed on the mound by pitching solid relief and Alec Furier made is debut pitching in the 6th striking out 2.		DKM looked to extend its winning streak to 3 games in a Monday night game vs Russell's Reds. That hope was quickly ended as Russell's Reds got oonthe board early and often enroute to a 17-4 win over DKM. Matt Kraupner and Jack Maguire lead the team offensively. Maguire reached base 3 times with a hit and two walks. Kraupner collected 2 hits and 3 RBI. Brendan Coluccio, Brendan McGinn and Jake Bromsey also collected base hits. John Sica, Steven Verstandig, Colin Zibel and Fred Docous all reached base with a walk. James MacKrell hit the ball hard all three times up. John Sica, Brendan McGinn took the mound after Maguire. Josh Rosen also pitched and did a fine job in his 2009 pitching debut.
