Matt Weinberg got his 1st start of the year and went 4 2/3 for Slingerlands striking out 7 while scattering 5 hits. Nick Sgroi went 1 1/3 for the save. Slingerlands had their best defensive game of the year with no errors and some great plays in the field. Matt Riker played his 1st Majors game and had a great play at 2nd base, walked and scored. Jeremy Cronin had a couple of great catches in center and added a single. Patrick Egan had a great catch in LF and added a single. Weinberg helped himself with 2 singles, Dan Robeson had a blistering triple and Nico Gargano-Kozlowski had a hard single and a run scored. Cameron VanNatten had a great eye with 2 walks and a run scored. Overall, a great effort by the boys.
