Devin Reed started the season off on the mound, with Nick Mazone coming in and throwing 3 innings and Karl Signor finishing up , Offensively , Karl Signor blasted a solo homer over the center field fence, and also had a triple. Aaron Carrk had a 2 run triple and Kevin Pierce displayed a keen eye at the plate with 3 walks and scoring twice.		Slingerlands got off to a great start behind the pitching of Dan Robeson who recorded 9 strikeouts over 4 innings. Austin Bielawa, Nick Sgroi and Matt Weinberg closed out the 5th and 6th for the 9-5 win. The bats were hot lead by Austin Bielawa who went 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles, Dan Robeson who was 2 for 3 with a 2 run HR to deep left center and 3 RBI's. Kyle Morelli went 2 for 2 and stole home. The defense was solid highlighted by Patrick Demers play at 2nd base and Josh Irving in LF.
