The Phillies came out fast & meant business, as the Cards found themselves down 3-2, at the end of two innings. However, the team pulled together & had a big 3rd inning, crossing 6 runners across the plate. All together, the Cards threw 6 different pitchers & had 5 different catchers suit up for the game. The Phillies to their credit, never gave up. Manager Gorman assures me that his team will be ready for the playoffs & will stage some huge victory's on the way to the title. Best of luck Phillies. The Cards bats were on fire in this game, with 13 hits, & the defense was stellar. Plays of the game were the two unassisted rundowns by Deven Koehler with the last one to end the game. Coach Koshgarian thought Deven chased them down like a lion chasing his prey. The other play of the game was a nice double play by Casey Ogden & Timmy Buff. Pitchers: Matt, Derek, Dean, Tyler, Alex D., & Casey, recorded 11 K's between them & threw a 4 hitter. Awesome job guys!!!
