		Thursday night on field 4 proved to be another exciting game between the Jewelers and our LB's. The Jewelers knocked in 4 in the first inning to jump out to an early lead. But the LB's battled back the entire game - and took hold of the lead in a 6 run 6th inning. On the Hill: Starter, Hammer Hinkell pitched a solid 2 2/3 innings, racking up 5 Ks. Middle reliever, High Def Rappold was brought in with 2 outs in the 3rd and records a 3 pitch strike out to end the inning. High Def got the job done in the middle innings – allowing only 1 run on 1 hit and 5 Ks. Closer, Milkman Egan was taken deep by a great hit off the bat of PAJ's T. Oberting. Milkman took it in stride though and allowed only 1 run on 2 hits and recorded 4 Ks in 1 2/3 innings work. Great outing guys! Gloves: Well we were wondering why Justin Methe wanted to have the nickname Velcro, and now we know – the ball sticks to his glove!! Two outstanding web gems fielded by Velcro at second base – over the head backwards diving catches in the 2nd AND 3rd innings! Definitely highlight reel material! Bats: High Def – 2 singles (2 for 3); Velcro – 2 singles (2 for 3); Buffinator - 3 singles (3 for 3); Rubber Legs – 1 single (1 for 3); DP Dupuis – double (1 for 3); Hammer – 2 singles (2 for 3); Shanester – 1 single (1 for 2). 4th straight game with double digit hit total (12 hits) – way to put the ball in play! And welcome back to our 1st baseman DP Dupuis!! Good to have you in the lineup again!! PAJ played a great game – and had a very successful season. It was a really exciting and error free playoff game.
