Hey, Hey Mr.K! Last day of regular season = K.A.D. (Kid Appreciation Day). Up is down; black is white. We threw all the normal game routines out the window and mixed it up. Our line-up was turned upside down and our defense looked nothing like a regular game. Even our coaching boxes had uniformed players with helmets! Arms: Bobby Martino - 2 IP, 1 hit, 1 run TPot - 1 IP, 0 runs Sam 'Beckett' Elliot - 1.1 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs Sticks: Marcus - 2 walks Dillon - 1 walk Sam - 1 walk Bobby - 1 walk TPot - single Johnny - 2 walks Casey - single, double Other things to note: Bobby did a nice job starting the game on the hill. TPot coming back from a hit to the head 3 days earlier battled through an inning on the mound. Sam I Am - first appearance on the hill this year was perfect - 4 up and 4 down!!! Dillon made a great play at 3B to end an inning. Johhny K (after a mad dash by Coach K to get the proper equipment) caught 2 innings for the first time in his career! Marcus looking like Larry Bowa in the 3B coaching box! Jake making a nice play at SS. Coach Potenxa blowing his $$ on Big Brown. Benny Cassillo sweating up a storm in his catcher's gear making it difficult to even shake hands with him after the game. Lightning came in the 5th inning which forced us to stop the game. Thanks to Coach Cassillo and staff for letting the kids have some fun!! Boys - you started off slow this season but picked it up as of late! Nice job! We want Citzens in the finals!
