Well, we had a very rough day. 2 of out stronger players who pitch and catch were absent, and another pitcher had to skip the game due to the new LL pitching rules, and one of catchers got hurt after the 1st inning which left us with 2 pitchers and 2 catchers who were both the same players. As much as we tried to call LL Baseball and try to get them to change the pitching and catching rule for us just for today, no one was at the office on a Saturday. Huge bummer! Once again, starting out the game, we had a few costly errors in the first innning and put us under the gun from the get go. A few costly errors in the 2nd inning put us down 7-0 with only 1 earned run. Tyler Becker mixed up his pitches nicely keeping our hitters at bay. It doesn't matter who is pitching against us though, we need to put the bat on the ball much more and get more than 1 hit in a game unless we can sneak Johan Santana on our team and pass him off as a 12 year old to pitch for us. Time to dig deep Citizens and come back ready to play next game and play to the best of our abilities. I feel a win coming on! Some highlights of today's game: Jordan-great diving catch behind the dish and overall job behind the dish for 3 innings, Woodsie-single, Gary-awesome at bat with 5 foul balls, Sammy-way to put the ball in place both times up, Alex Perez did a great job coming in to pitch and threw strikes for 3 innings for us giving up 3 earned runs
