Hudson Valley and Scotia-Glenville had an outstanding pitchers duel Sunday with Hudson Valley squeaking out a 2-1 win. Tim Sanderson hit a home run in the top of the 6th to give Hudson Valley the one run lead, and the win. He finished the day 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Justin Bullis went 1 for 2. Joe Deering went 1 for 2 and made a running catch in left field to end a rally in the 2nd. Jeremy Putorti went 1 for 2 scoring the first run on a wild pitch. He also made a diving stab of a grounder in the 5th preventing the go ahead run from scoring. Evan Bullis made a diving catch in right field to prevent the runner on 2nd from scoring. Chris Snyder pitched and got the win going 6 innings, giving up 1 run, 4 hits and had 6 strike outs. Eric Stott relieved in the 7th and got out of a bases loaded jam to seal the hard fought victory.
