What a great showing tonight from The FPI players. Being able to hit in the 3rd - 6th inning is key. Great pitching from all 4 of our pitchers, including the young Tyler Yox who makes his Little League debt on the mound. Jack Mahoney doubles for his 3rd game in a row, Kyle gets 2 triples and 2 doubles to drive in 8(hang in there Kyle, you'll get all the way around) Griffin Klein goes 5 for 5. No K's for Kyle, Ben, Griffin, Ryan and the surprise player: Nicholas Green, who goes 3 for 3 and reaches base all 5 times. For his efforts and his ability to stand tall at the plate, Nicholas Green is named FPI's "Player of the Game". I would also like thank the coaches and players of Red Robin for great game. Our hats are off to you guys. Conor Leach gets a standing ovation as he comes in with the teams last at bat and clears the bases for a GRAND SLAM. Way to go Conor!!
