What beautiful day for baseball! I wake up and the sky is as blue as BB King and the birds outside my bedroon window are chirping tunes from the classic album "We Sold Our Souls For Rock and Roll'. I'm thinking 'Man, what could go wrong today'! I found out at 4:45 on Field 3. The third game of our start of the season 5 game road trip had the Achievements bats hitting pretty much every pitch thrown. The problem was that weak nubbers and ground balls directly into the fielders gloves amounted to pretty much nothing. Fairly solid fielding didn't allow Becker, Flint, and Company any cheapos but their timely hitting did enough damage to bury the Achievers. A well played game by the Flintsters!! Josh Koppel threw a very nice 4th and 5th inning! Lumber: Joe, Jack, Teddy, Adam, & Jake led the way at the plate. Coach C is getting tired of putting an 'X' in the bottom of the 6th inning for our opponents. I'm starting to think that it may not be so bad being Coach Planz....
