Our West Coast trip (5 games in 9 days) has started out against 2 of the top pitchers in the league. Ben Cassillo did a great job holding us to 2 runs. The kids hit the ball well but just couldn't put anything together. Brogan Barker,Matt Morano,and Chris Gongoleski had singles and Rico Battibulli a long double,(next time don't miss 2nd base Rico, it could have been a triple...)Rico also was the defensive player of the game making 3 great plays. Very proud of the kids fighting back, like Coach Cassillo said, to load the bases in the bottom of the 6th. Very exiting finish. Good luck Mr. K on the rest of the season.		A Mothers Day victory that was tougher than the score indicates. Justin Canfield started us off with a hit in the 3rd inning in which 3 runs were scored. Ben Cassillo and Dan Hausamann had doubles. Mister K. hung on as Latham Int'l had the bases loaded and the tying run at the plate in the last inning.
